Good Shepherd’s choir will resume practice in the fall at the church downstairs. Join Us!
Choir – Rehearsal Sunday, September 4th 9 – 10am
Rehearsal Sunday, September 11th 9 – 10am
Rehearsal Sunday, September 18th 9 – 10am Choir sings at 10:30 service.
Rehearsals are Sundays from 9 – 10 except Sundays the handbell choir plays at second service.
Sings the first and third Sundays at the 10:30 service beginning Sept. 18th
To sing with the choir you do not need to commit to singing with the choir each time it sings; you can choose times that are regular or special for you or as a special event. It would be helpful if Mary knows when you are or are not singing for a Sunday Service if you sing regularly of that you are going to sing if you are not a regular choir attendee.
Mary is looking for help cataloging the choir music. If interested please contact Mary and she will explain the process and details needed.
Mary, Linda Smith and Pastor Hitt will be attending a “Paperless Music” Conference in early October to learn new ways of sharing music with the congregation. Be ready to watch what happens!
We are always looking to expand the hymn choosing teams. If interested please leave a message with Erin.
First rehearsal is set for Thursday September 8th from 6:30 – 8 pm. We are still looking for new members that can commit to rehearsal approximately an hour and a half each week. Music experience is helpful, but NOT NECESSARY. Please talk to Mary if interested in making the time pledge. Rehearsals occur weekly on Thursday except for Thanksgiving. If you need to be absent from rehearsal, as much advanced notice is needed to find a substitute if possible.
It is hoped the bell choir will be able to play in church 4 – 5 times during the September through July ringing season.
Good Shepherd’s Bell Choir practices every Thursday night at the church from 6:30-8pm. Join Us!
